Hi, my name is Phil and along with my wife Maria I took over at the 'helm' of Planet Sandwich back in March 2010.
I started my career training as a chef at London's Mayfair Hotel and Westminster College back in the mid seventies and
spent 15 years working in hotels, restaurants and conference centres throughout Britain before becoming involved in Contract
Catering. Along with several small contract caterers I have also worked for the likes of Compass, Eurest and Aramark.
My final position was as a development chef in the North West of England for Aramark where I personally prepared buffets
for the likes of Cherie Blair, Peter Mandelson and The Duke of Gloucester. Maria also has had previous catering experience
working for several years at the Licence Victuallers Association.
With over 35 years experience in the trade not only can we offer traditional buffet fayre but also something really different.
From our unique crostini range with tempting toppings such as Thai Chicken, Cajon Chicken and Mango, Leek and Coriander and
Tomato and Balsamic Vinegar to our eye catching garnishes our quality, presentation and customer service are second to none.
